About JoAnn Duncan

JoAnn Duncan is a board certified Genetic Counselor with a Master of Science in Human Genetics. She worked as a Genetic Counselor for 14 years in various hospitals including: Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL, Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, NY and most recently at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT. She has been a Reiki practitioner since 1997, became a Reiki Master in September of 2000, and a Karuna Reiki® Master in May of 2008. She is also an ordained Priest in the order of Melchizidek, an Advanced Level Integrated Energy Therapist (IET), and a Level II Reconnective Healing® Practitioner.

In addition, JoAnn has worked part time in a Naturopathic Medical Center providing allergy testing by kinesiology and allergy desensitization by NAET. JoAnn has also worked at the Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital, providing Reiki sessions to outpatients and inpatients receiving conventional treatment at the center. JoAnn is a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP).

In addition to private Reiki sessions, JoAnn also incorporates Integrated Energy Therapy® and Karuna Reiki®, which helps heal mental/emotional issues. Reconnective Healing® is offered in individual stand alone sessions. She teaches all levels of Reiki, including Level I, Level II, and Master Level.
